Description:
The Youveim® E245 PtRu/C - Nickel Fiber Paper Electrode is engineered for high-performance electrochemical applications, particularly in fuel cells and catalytic processes where both platinum (Pt) and ruthenium (Ru) are required. This electrode features a bimetallic PtRu alloy supported on carbon (PtRu/C), coated onto a nickel fiber paper substrate. The platinum-ruthenium alloy enhances both catalytic activity and poison tolerance, particularly for methanol and carbon monoxide oxidation, making it ideal for direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs).
